Welcome to the 6th Grade History PAWs

PAW stands for Paragraph-A-Week. Although they are not necessarily done each week, we create these paragraphs within a week to correspond to what we are learning in our history class. We publish our work on the web as part of our digital portfolio project.

Sample Page Layout
Student Guidelines:
  • You may look at any other student's wiki page.
  • You may edit another student's wiki page by pointing out problems with spelling, punctuation, etc.
  • Indent of paragraphs does not work on the wiki pages.
  • You may provide feedback to another student's wiki page in the space below the horizontal line for comments.
  • Feedback from other students is important. Please let students know what you think by writing in the comments section.
  • Date your comments, and sign your name with the word "wiki." For example:
    • October 10, Make sure you capitalize the word Internet when you write. Ms.RussacWiki
  • Proofread your work. There is no spell check function for wiki pages. Grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation count, so please proofread before and after you save your work.
